Terms of service
Last updated: 14 October 2026
These terms are between Dovetailed Pte Ltd, Singapore (UEN 202645349W) ("we"), and the business that signs up for FrontDesk ("you"). People who book with a business through FrontDesk, or ask an assistant about it, are covered by the section "For people making a booking".
1. What FrontDesk is
FrontDesk gives you a website widget (WhatsApp, Telegram, call and Chat with AI), a hosted booking or request form, public pages AI assistants can read listing the services you confirm, and booking links that open your form with the customer's choices filled in. The FrontDesk WordPress plugin is free and only connects your site to this service.
FrontDesk is your own booking surface. You set it up, you decide what is published about your business, and you authorise us to run it for you.
2. The free plan and the trial
The free plan lists up to 3 services. There are no view limits or visitor counts, and no card is needed to start.
Your first 5 bookings through FrontDesk are a trial, once for the life of your account. Without Stripe connected, they arrive as requests: you confirm or decline each one yourself, and no money changes hands. A trial booking counts once it is confirmed.
Bookings made by phone, WhatsApp, Telegram or your own forms are not bookings through FrontDesk. They are never counted or charged.
3. Paid bookings
Paid bookings are not available yet. When they are:
- Every booking through FrontDesk after your trial will be paid when it is made. Each service you list will carry a price or a deposit of at least S$5.
- Payment will go through your own Stripe account, connected to FrontDesk. You are the merchant: your name is on the customer's statement, and the money goes to your Stripe balance.
- Stripe charges you its own processing fee, under your agreement with Stripe.
- We will take S$1 per booking, deducted from the payment at source. There is no monthly fee and no invoice from us for bookings.
- The customer will have 15 minutes to pay, and the time is held for them while they do. If they do not pay, the hold ends and nothing is booked.
- If you connect Stripe during your trial, your trial bookings are paid by the customer, Stripe's fee applies, and our S$1 is waived.
4. Refunds and disputes
Refunds and disputes are handled in your own Stripe account, under your own policies. Our S$1 is not refunded when you refund or cancel a booking.
5. Catalogue unlocks
You can list more services with a one-time payment that lasts for the life of your account:
| Plan | Services listed | One-time payment |
|---|---|---|
| Free | up to 3 | S$0 |
| Starter | up to 20 | S$9 |
| Growth | up to 150 | S$19 |
| Large | up to 300 | S$29 |
Moving up a plan costs the difference. An unlock does not change the S$1 per booking. From Starter you can also customise the widget and switch off the "FrontDesk by Dovetailed" line in the Chat with AI panel.
Connecting your booking system or CRM with the AI-guided setup is a separate one-time S$49 unlock. Your first guided setup run is free.
More than 300 services, several locations, or a booking system that needs a real integration: talk to us on dovetailed.sg.
Unlocks are paid once, by card, to us. They are not on sale yet. Prices are in Singapore dollars. Dovetailed is not GST-registered. We give at least 30 days' notice by email of any price change.
6. Pausing and switching off
Online booking through FrontDesk pauses when your 5 trial bookings are used and Stripe is not connected, or when you disconnect Stripe. While it is paused, your widget stays on your site with WhatsApp, Telegram and Chat with AI; no booking can be made through FrontDesk; and your hosted pages say that online booking is paused and how to reach you. Connecting Stripe resumes it.
You can switch FrontDesk off, or remove the widget, at any time. There is no minimum term.
We may suspend FrontDesk for your business at once if these terms are broken in a way that risks harm to people or to the service.
7. What you agree to
- What you publish is true, current and yours to publish.
- You do not list anything unlawful, or prescription-only or age-restricted products for assistants to promote.
- You do not add question pills or descriptions that give medical advice, make outcome claims or aim to steer a customer's assistant.
- If you are a healthcare provider, your listings follow Singapore's healthcare advertising rules.
- You do not use FrontDesk to collect data you are not allowed to collect, or to send messages people did not ask for.
- You do not try to break, overload or copy the service, or use it to reach systems you are not authorised to use.
- You confirm or decline requests in good time.
8. Your customers' data
For bookings made through FrontDesk, you are the organisation responsible for your customers' personal data, and we process it on your behalf: only to run FrontDesk for you, under your instructions, and for nothing else. Our privacy notice says what is collected, who receives it and how long it is kept.
9. No medical advice
FrontDesk publishes facts and booking links. It gives no medical, legal or financial advice, and it does not decide whether a service is suitable for anyone.
10. AI assistants
Assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude are run by other companies. They may make mistakes. Your booking page checks the service, price and time again on submit. We are not responsible for what an assistant says.
11. Availability of the service
We aim to keep FrontDesk running, but we do not promise it will never be down or never show an out-of-date time. Every availability page shows when it was last read.
12. Liability
In plain words: if something goes wrong because of us, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the 6 months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost bookings, or losses caused by an AI assistant, your booking system, your payment provider, or information you published. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
13. For people making a booking
If you book through a FrontDesk link, your booking is with the business, on its terms. Nothing is booked until you submit the form yourself. During a business's trial, your booking is a request until the business confirms it by email. Once paid bookings start, a booking will be confirmed when your payment succeeds, and refunds will be the business's to give. For questions about a booking, contact the business.
14. Changes to these terms
We will email you at least 30 days before a material change. If you keep using FrontDesk after that, the new terms apply. Minor changes (wording, clarifications, and changes the law requires) take effect when we post them. The date of the latest version is shown at the top of this page.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have jurisdiction.
